Like the saying goes, "time flies when you're having fun." Over these past 8 months, we have been having so much fun with Charlie. There are days that I wish time would stand still so that I can enjoy each day to the fullest. I say it everytime I make a post but she is growing so fast and learning so much! Everytime I think I have developed a routine with Charlie, she learns something new and I have to relearn the routine she has hatched in that smart little brain of hers. She is such a joy and we try to make the most of every day we have with her.
Since it has been a while since my last post, I just post a few highlights from our last couple of months.
September
My parents and Kimmy flew home for a quick visit from Korea. We've missed them so much, it was great to have them home for a bit. While they were here, we spent almost everyday with them. They were so excited to see Charlie again and they couldn't get over how big she had grown.
We miss you halmuni and halabuhjee, we can't wait to see you again soon!!!
October
In the month of October, Charlie mastered crawling, eating solids and drinking from the sippy cup. She babbles a ton and loves to say bababa (which we have yet to decipher). She loves playing with Kali, even if Kali doesn't always love playing with her back. She still has trouble falling asleep on her own but I don't mind it cause that means that I get to spend some more time snuggling with her at night. She is growing and developing at a rapid pace, we have to always keep an eye on her so she doesn't get into something she is not supposed to. This stage is so much fun but alot of work!
My cousin, Michelle, got engaged back in September and she asked us to check out a wedding venue with her. The venue they've chosen is so cool and we can't wait for the big day!
Congratulations, Michelle and Howard! We are so excited for the two of you!
For our very first Halloween, Charlie was a strawberry. We celebrated by going to a brunch at our friend Jen's house and then hit up the mall for some indoor trick or treating. She absolutely loved dressing up and getting all the attention. She's as sweet as jam!
November
We all know that Zeke has a love affair with cars. What better way to celebrate his love for cars than to go to the car show. All different makes and models of cars under one roof. It was fun for us to spend some time together walking around. Charlie seems to be a car lover just like her dad. She's already picked out the car she wants when she turns 16...put it on your wish list, my dear.
Charlie still doesn't have any teeth to date. She has started to drool a bit but no teeth yet. To practice for when the big day comes, we have started brushing her gums. She loves watching Zeke and I brush our teeth and its funny to watch her try and imitate us. She's a cutie and we are so grateful for her.
We hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving! We will post pictures of our Thanksgiving day events on the next post. Love you all!!!
OH man she just keeps getting cuter and cuter. So glad you started this blog so I can see pictures of you guys. You look great. Miss you.
