Charlie and I are now on the last leg of our trip. We are very excited to be going home to the other half of our family unit but we will miss our family in Korea! It's been such a great adventure but like the saying goes, "All good things must come to an end." Charlie has had such a wonderful time getting to know her grandparents in Korea, we can't wait for the next visit! But next time, we are sure to bring Zeke along. Things just weren't the same without him!
Good News and Bad News The good news is, is that I am posting a few pictures before we leave for home. The bad news is, is that Charlie and I have been sick for the past few days. Charlie had a fever and it only lasted a day but her personality changed just a little bit after the fever...I think she has learned that a little bit of crying equals ALOT of attention. Hopefully, it's just a stage and she'll grow out of it before the flight home (Keep your fingers crossed for me, please!). Whatever Charlie had, it got to me because I was running a pretty high fever and I feel like a Mac truck hit me (luckily, I have my mom to pick up the slack--which is why I am blogging instead of packing). So, feeling the way I do and knowing that my little one was a little whiney, I guess I lucked out in that things didn't get worse for her. With all that said, we are on the road to recovery and on our way home!
Here are a few pictures of our time spent in Korea. I'll post some more pics of all our adventures when I get home.
can I get your number, baby?
For Charlie's 100 day celebration, my parents took her to a local photographer for some pictures. I will post more about that next time. but here is just a preview. Charlie is lacking a little in the hair dept and so the photographer put a hat on her...check our the ridiculousness of the hat. When we get home, Grandpa Edwards will be giving her a hair cut. =/
She met her halmuni's cousin's son...does that make him her 3rd or 4th cousin? Either way, in Korea, he's considered to be her uncle...
Smile for the camera =)
Charlie giving us one of her darling looks.
She loves her giraffe and has learned how to hold on to her...kinda.
I didn't realize your trip is soon to be over! I thought you would be there for another few weeks! I bet your parents and sisters are sad to see you leave but the Edwards clan is SO excited! Travel safely and we'll see you soon!! Love you guys!
ReplyDeleteThat trip seemed like it went by fast, but I am sure it did not for Zeke. I love the pictures of her in the hats. She is adorable. Good luck on your flight home. Hope it goes well.
